(1) Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s Dinner Tonight Healthy Cooking School is a live recipe demonstration cooking program which aims to provide healthy recipes for Texans and educate on effective techniques for everyday meal preparations. Dinner Tonight also focuses on promoting increased family mealtime and connecting Texas agriculture and products. The benefits of this education and techniques promote an increase of self-efficacy in meal planning, healthy cooking preparation, and food safety. This knowledge and behavior change is essential to reducing certain chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and hypertension.
