I am a 3rd year medical student from UAB School of Medicine. I am here to learn how to teach my future patients specifically what recipes and diets they can follow based on their specific disease. I represent the Cooking Healthily On a Penny (CHOP) program, a service- learning project focused on teaching healthy cooking on a budget and with minimal resources in a farmer's market that serves a food-insecure population.
